Guest Speaker: Dr. Phil Graniero

At the invite of Dr. Chitra Rangan, Dr. Phil Graniero joined the PEARL community for the first session of the “PEARL Distinguished Speakers Series” on February 5th, 2016. During this session, he discussed the topic “Using your SET data: Real Signals in the Noise” with other faculty members who were really interested in developing new methods of how to better understand the results from the “Students Evaluation of Teaching” forms.

Dr. Graniero is an associate professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Windsor. During his carrier at the University of Windsor he has held positions like the Program Chair, Environmental Studies at the Centre for Inter-faculty Programs. Also he is part of multiple programs and committees such as: Strategic Planning Enrollment Committee, Student Information Access Policy Committee and Science Program Development Committee.

His broad experience and knowledge were very beneficial to the participants of our session. They had the opportunity to get answers to their questions and network with the guest speaker as well as with other peers.
