Monuments to death are very interesting as this tends to be the way that the public grieve the loss of a celebrity or a horrible accident that could have been avoided. An example of this is the 9/11 monument which is dedicated to those who lost their lives during the horrible event on September 11th, 2001.

Another monument is the Boston marathon bombing monument that represents all the lives lost during that horrible event as well.

The public go to these and give things such as Jersey’s for Kobe’s monument or flowers for the 9/11 monument, in order to express how they are feeling about the events.

But a monument is so much more than that. It is also a way for the people to give back to those that lost their lives. Heroic people that risked there lives such as soldiers and other that had there lives lost to early like in the 9/11 and Boston bombing monument. It is a way for the public to be able to express how they feel and how it affects us as a nation, in order for us to grow and recall our loved ones.
