The PEARLS Inaugural Workshop was held on Thursday Nov 7th 2019 in Essex Hall 109 from 3:00 – 4:00PM. A huge thank you goes out to everyone that came to our event to learn more about our organization and what’s to come in the near future!

We had 3 wonderful guest speakers at the event; Dr. Steven Rehse, Ms. Michelle Bondy, and Dr. Chitra Rangan.

Dr. Rehse gave a talk about First Year Introductory Physics Lab Redesign, Redevelopment, and Reinvigoration Utilizing the iOLab Technology. Ms. Bondy talked about the new Peer-Assisted Learning Sessions (PALS) program, which supports students through active and collaborative learning. Finally, Dr. Rangan talked about PEARLS activities and opportunities to come. Dr. Chris Houser also performed the inauguration of PEARLS.
