Hello there ! Thank you for visiting my eportfolio ! I am a current Education student at the University of Windsor, Ontario. I completed my undergraduate degree at Kings’ University College in London, Ontario in 2018 with an Honours Specialization in French Language and Literature. I was born in Italy in July of 1996 and I am 23 years old. I moved to Canada at the age of 14 in 2010. I am grateful for the opportunity of being able to have experienced life in two different countries and it has provided me with unique opportunities and connections that I will forever cherish. I enjoy singing, dancing, reading and writing, travelling, being in nature and discovering new cultures. I am a sociable person and enjoy building networks. I like to play sports, in particular volleyball and ping pong. I hold a passion for languages. I grew up bilingual, speaking English and Italian and later on French and I am currently working on learning more Spanish and Mandarin. I am versatile as I enjoy a variety of disciplines, such as the Sciences, for example Biology and subjects within the Social Sciences. I am particularly interested in what are the ways and methods for effectively teaching second language learners. I believe that every student has the ability to achieve their goals when given the trust and encouragement to enlighten the spark that is within them, in order to fuel their curiosity and confidence to pursue their learning within the classroom. Teachers have a responsibility to listen to children’ voices and help every child believe that achieving anything, with sacrifices is possible and that these ones are experiences and opportunities for self growth and the path that lead to a beautiful journey, life.
