Welcome to my E-Portfolio! This Portfolio serves to display and highlight my growth thus far in my professional semesters at University of Windsor and beyond.
My Name is Miss. Romany and I am currently completing my Bachelor of Education at the University of Windsor, Primary/ Junior Division. I have thus far, successfully graduated from Brock University in 2016, with my Bachelor of Kinesiology (Hon.). I furthered my education by graduating from Fanshawe College in 2018, with my Diploma of Advanced Massage Therapy.
Today, I proudly serve and educate the community through rehabilitation of the London community as a Registered Massage Therapist. Although, I enjoy serving the community as a Registered Massage Therapist, I found myself wanting to educate the community further beyond health, wellness and rehabilitation. I realized that my childhood passion as an educator still remained, as I often treated patients that were children. Their curiosity for health and well-being excited me as I educated them on their bodies, and this made me realize, I wanted to educate children as a lifelong career.
I have volunteered in schools in the Thames Valley District School Board, at Montessori Schools in York Region, and currently working as a TCSP within the London District Catholic School Board. The most rewarding experience I have had thus far was in my first Field Practicum at Zone Township Central School. This is where I started to grow as the Educator I aspire to be, one that builds relationships with students and is self-reflective.
