Franco-Sol
Franco-Sol is a french daycare. The children at this centre spoke some french but most were still in the early stages of learning french. At this centre, my activities were had to be altered slightly, due to me having to incorporate the french language into our everyday routines.
The children at this centre were very interested in ice. During outside time there was often snow on the ground as well as ice. The children liked to “draw” in the snow with their fingers and look at the ice. I decided to bring in “icicles” for the children to paint with.
After a few weeks at the centre, I discovered that the children liked to press things into playdough, especially animal feet. I went off that idea and gave the children toy animals to create animal tracks on their pages.
