Part Two: Practice what you teach (PWYT) – Practical tools and strategies for technology-enhanced teaching

For one of our assignments we needed to write a Blog Post about one of the many features or tools associated with Blackboard. Prior to PWYT I was unaware that Blackboard will allow you to implement “adaptive release” that ensures students complete a task or reach a specific threshold (grade) before moving on to the next item.

We also learned different techniques for ensuring the quality design of your course and the content within. What was really exciting in PWYT was learning all the various FREE tools associated with technology. We learned how to take different types of videos, editing tools, and even different types of presentations. Here is an example of a presentation I made on H5P and within this presentation is a video I made about Creative Commons Licensing using Apowersoft.
