Same Jinks is an Australian born artist who started his career in illustration. He later started to work in television and movies, making props and puppets – this is the reason he now works in silicone and other mixed media. He is a hyper realist sculptor who makes his work dream like by scaling them down but keeping them so life like, and adding unusual things (like dog heads, or tattoos) to his figures. He has been a practicing artist since 2000, and his work is currently displayed in the Piazza Bembo of the Venice Biennale.
