Working with Educational Tools
Back in November 2020, I was tasked in Digital Technology and Social Media course, to research and present educational tools and the risks of student data privacy.
Throughout this project, I not only learned about a vast variety of educational tools and resources that can be used, but additionally learned about the risks they pose, and ways to protect both my students and myself as an educator. I had never realized the amount of business interference that affects the educational world and was thankful to be equipped with the knowledge to protect my students and their privacy.

Language Across the Curriculum
During my Language Across the Curriculum course, I was tasked with creating a blog space to contribute my pedagogical knowledge and reflect on ways to be an effective communicator. Down below you can view my blog on Wix!
Throughout the fall 2020 semester, I made three reflections based off the content we learned in the course and how I can apply it to my future educational experiences. I cover many topics around digital literacy and multi-modality and multi-literacy learning.
Especially in a COVID-19 world, this information proves extremely valuable and has helped me communicate more effectively in my everyday life. I found that in my previous observational practicum, I was well-equipped to create well-rounded lesson plans that appealed to a wide range of students and their needs. This made my practice teaching much more enjoyable and effective for both myself and the students!
