For my service learning course, Vulnerability, Marginalization, and Education, I volunteered at Immaculate Conception Catholic Elementary helping support their ESL classroom, alongside my colleague and fellow teacher candidate, Jacob Spurdza. Together we created and executed a Pumpkin Pie Imagery Lesson as a fun activity to help students learn key descriptive language.
