To Be Honest Jar

This section will eventually be full of anonymous positive “To be honest” remarks from my classes.

The Idea: would work primarily in an in-class setting, as students could anonymously write a positive pump up message about someone else in class, and put it into the jar. These will be read in the morning.

Why? This is to promote self-awareness in the classroom, and to practice active participating in class. As well as increasing positivity, mindfulness, gratefulness and collaboration in the classroom environment.

What would I write? A few examples would be: “To be honest, Josie’s painting is so beautiful.” “To be honest, Greg was so kind yesterday when Olivia was upset.” “To be honest, Alex worked really hard in the group project.”
