We are living in the Digital Age and it would not make sense for me to pretend it does not exist in my classroom. Coding is something that terrifies me… this “Hour of Code” is a global activity that is made for anyone of any age. There are various games that you create by inputting code sequences that either exist already or that you create. I was definitely frustrated with the first choice of game I chose… If you have no experience with coding and are not tech savvy, but are willing to learn, like me. I suggest doing a “Code Monkey” game.
Below are my completed coding games. I am proud of myself for trying something new, even though it was terrifying and I felt like an imposter.
