The hexagonal pattern in this picture gave me a few ideas for the background.
My concept for this assignment is about simulations, recreating worlds through technology. I wanted a figure in the middle, to almost be floating in space. I originally wanted a figure in the fetal position, but playing around after a couple of hours gave me the idea to possibly super impose three figures in different poses (kind of like so):
