Teaching Philosophy

To support and enhance the educational development of students is the main reason I want to be an educator. There is a great potential in everyone we work with to be the best person and the guidance and support we provide as educators is critical to both the student and the educator.

I believe that connecting ongoing classroom education to real-life situations is crucial in student learning and opens up new possibilities for their future. Guest lectures from professionals in different fields relating to the subjects we teach is something that can give students a wider range of career opportunities while enhancing professional growth.

As teachers we help students to spark an interest as well as including student interests in every subject, to create that “desire” to learn. Therefore, I will provide multi-modal and differentiated learning within my classroom. I strive to help students become critical thinkers and have a growth mindset to motivate them to believe in themselves and their learning. Feedback and inquiry-based learning is an important part of this growth and allows the opportunity for them to become lifelong learners and attentive analytical learners. I aim to assist students to become organized individuals to the best of my abilities so they can use those acquired skills in the present and future endeavors.

I believe in an engaging, visual classroom together with the collaboration of students, giving them a sense of responsibility, to create an inclusive learning environment for everyone. This idea of guidance and being partners in their educational development is something that I consider important when developing young students. Everyone is different and grows in their own way, but in the end they can all flourish with the leadership of a motivated and engaging learner which is my overall goal as a young teacher and student role model.
