Welcome to my ePortfolio!

My name is Hope Forman and my mission is to share my passion of performance and creating art with youth in the community and to provide a creative outlet for children to grow and develop their passions in a safe and nurturing environment. I have recently graduated from the University of Windsor’s Faculty of Education program and I am thrilled to have you viewing my ePortfolio!

In this portfolio, you will find examples of exciting projects I’ve created and been a part of as an arts educator. From lesson plans to a conducting debut video, from a virtual holiday concert to a choreography reel – I have had a blast in all of my teaching endeavors and you can find snapshots of my journey here!

I hope to bring the arts into any subject I teach and would be happy to help others do the same!

The arts are extremely valuable because they promote individuality, instill confidence and encourage us to express our emotions and develop empathy through the roles we play. I think communication and storytelling is at the heart of all art. Art connects people, but also touches each individual differently based on their experiences. This is why it’s so important to engage our imagination and encourage young artists to create: because we all have a unique story to tell and perspective to share.
