Hula Hoop – Rock Paper Scissors
On a warm December day, I decided to take advantage of the nice weather and bring physical education class outdoors. This simple game had students separated into 4 groups. The objective is to beat your opponent in rock paper scissors as the winner advanced to the next hula hoop.
Accommodated Volleyball for Primary Students
In order to maintain the volleyball theme in the month of November, my Associate Teacher and I came up with an accommodated version of the game that helped work on the fundamentals of the sport without the typical rules and height limitations.
Welcome!
Hello, my name is Anthony Stefano and I’m currently in my first year of the Bachelor of Education program at the University of Windsor. My teachable is Health and Physical Education in the Junior/Intermediate stream. I’m also currently working towards being an IB certified teacher in the High School Science Stream!
I have a Bachelor of Arts Honours Specialization degree in Kinesiology from Western University which was obtained in 2021.
My first placement was at AV Graham Public School in a grade 7/8 classroom. I was fortunate to work alongside Mr. Voy in his homeroom and in the grades 1,2 and 3 physical education classes that he led.
Aside from school and education, I’m a very active individual who enjoys the outdoors and playing sports. My passion for physical activity and movement is something that I hope to instill in my future classroom through a kinaesthetic learning model.
