  • Lead the design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of training programs and support materials for the UWindsor WordPress ePortfolio system, impacting over 7,000 users across six faculties.
  • Design and facilitate professional development programs, courses, and resources for students, faculty, and staff, promoting best practices in teaching and learning, and enhancing institutional capacity in educational technology, as well as community outreach and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

  • Organization and successful delivery of May 2018 international Open Education Summit, a research and practice showcase of the impact of open and online technology and practices for post-secondary teaching and learning, in partnership with St. Clair College, Lambton College, and eCampus Ontario. Administration of campus and community participant engagement at semiannual UWindsor Community Consultations; development, monitoring and delivery of social media strategy and coordination for semi-annual Windsor Oakland Teaching and Learning Conference
  • Coordinated, researched, drafted, and collaboratively published accessible, open, and online learning materials, including open textbooks  (ex. Health & Medical Case Studies), and openly published peer reviewed journals (ex: Collected Essays on Learning and Teaching)
  • Leadership, organization, and project management of over $5million in grants from external funding agencies, and $500,000 in Office of Open Learning Digital, Online, and Open Strategic Development grants over 11 years.

Governing.

  • 2018- 2022: Trustee & Chairperson of the Greater Essex County District School Board.
    • Served as a panelist at the 2021 and 2022 Ontario Public Education Symposium, discussing governance challenges during the pandemic and fostering understanding of effective relationships between the Board and the Director of Education.
  • 2022- present: Ward 1 Councillor in the Town of Tecumseh.
    • Lead the development of strategic plans and policies, contributing to the 2023-2026 Town of Tecumseh Strategic Priorities, ensuring alignment with community needs, budgetary realities, and municipal objectives.
    • Chair of the Tecumseh Housing Advisory Panel, Chair of the Accessibility Advisory Committee, demonstrating commitment to governance, inclusivity, and community engagement. Chair the Procedural Bylaw Sub-Committee, guiding the development and review of governance policies and procedures to promote transparency and accountability within municipal operations.
  • 2021- present: President & Director, Julien’s House.
    • Provide strategic leadership and governance for a registered charitable organization, overseeing the delivery of grief and bereavement services to over 300 families in the Windsor and Essex County community, with an annual client increase of 68%. Lead an 11-member Board of Directors in developing and executing strategic priorities, annual budgets, and policy frameworks that align with the organization’s mission and objectives.
    • Serve as Chair of the Governance Committee, spearheading the development of policies, bylaws, and human resource-related procedures to enhance organizational effectiveness
