April 27th 2014, Malden Park
Earth Day 2014 was hosted at Malden Park, next to Malden Hill and Mic Mac Park. It was crisp out but the sun was shining and people were happy to be outdoors after the long, cold winter!
There were lots of activities for kids and family, as well as vendors and information booths from various environmental organizations.
Kids really enjoyed looking at the hens and the chicks who were visiting for the day!

Everyday should be Earth Day!
The Herb Gray Parkway project had a team and display present to talk about native plants and the the project.
All in all a great event and a beautiful day!
