Balloonapalooza, a festival held in downtown Windsor, celebrated its second year in August of 2012. This all-ages event is very family-friendly, free to the public and really showcases Windsor’s downtown core.

Local businesses experience a boon during this 2-day event as people flock to the city core, trying new restaurants, shopping at unique boutiques and experiencing Windsor in new ways. The streets, closed to motor traffic, allow families to safely wander from one giant balloon to another.
This event gives Windsorites a chance to mingle, strengthen their sense of community and enjoy a light-hearted, summer celebration!
Live music, entertainers and performers of all kinds perform on the stages, streets and restaurant patios in scheduled or impromptu shows. Featuring mostly regional artists, this festival promotes local talent and showcases a few of the many skilled performers Ontario has to offer!
Special thanks to Liam McWade, Brian Khan and Erica Larusso for their hard work as a part of the organization team for Balloonapalooza 2012!
