- The Arts of Losing – Age: Adult: Through exploring topics such as grief, sadness, anger and frustration, this book helps individuals experiencing a loss. It encourages acceptance of what one is feeling and certain process that can help individuals move forward (Bilbray, 2017).

- Extremely loud & incredibly close: A nine-year-old boy with aspergers father dies in 9/11. The movie follows the boy as he starts to view things differently and navigate relationships while coping with the loss of his father.
- Beginners: A film about a man who losses his father to cancer. The film emphasized different forms of love, loss, and connection while staying true to yourself.
